Building Paris

Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day…Neither Was Paris!

Welcome to my new blog. I will be updating it regularly with new posts in a few different categories, but all dealing with self-improvement in one way, shape, or form.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, Neither Was Paris. I am “Paris”…well, that’s my name anyway. Becoming the person I want to be will take time. In fact, the truth is that I will never get there because my real desire is the journey of continued self-improvement. None of us are perfect, and therefore we always have room for improvement.

Think about some of the things that you would like to improve about yourself. I’ll get you started by telling you some of mine. I would like to be a better father; a better spouse (will be married in less than a month); better at personal finances; a better Christian; and in better physical shape. I’ll be blogging about some of these and more…and will put them into tidy little categories for you OCD types (you know who you are).

Leave a comment telling me what you would like to improve. It might just be something I’ve not even thought about, and can start a new category just for that topic.

Here is another famous paris from wiki…

Paris (Greek: Πάρις; also known as Alexander or Alexandros, c.f. Alaksandu of Wilusa), the son of Priam, king of Troy, appears in a number of Greek legends. Probably the best-known was his elopement with Helen, queen of Sparta, this being one of the immediate causes of the Trojan War. Later in the war, he fatally wounds Achilles in the heel with an arrow, as foretold by Achilles’s mother, Thetis.

Thanks George. I never knew that he was the one that nailed Achilles.
